Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day is a domestic celebration when people are granting gratitude towards one another. This day is commemorated once a year on the fourth Thursday on the month of November. The first Thanksgiving was held in 1621 at Plymouth, Massachusetts. This was known to be the Pilgrims holiday. In November 26, 1789 George Washington declared that the United States should commemorate that holiday as well.

Kindness

In the video were the lady saw a poor man walking through the park was pleasant. That was truly marvelous of the lady to give up her lunch to the man. Also, when the little boy from the baseball game gave up his baseball and gave it to a little kid who was sad that he ddidn'tcatch it. That was a matter of fact an awfully nice of him.

Reflection: If you say something that is not true then it might be the boy who cried wolf. Also, when you know it’s not the right thing to do, you are supposed to stay away from there. For example like drinking out with friends and telling your mom it’s a sleep over at a friend’s. 

Dental Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities: Dental Assistants help the licensed dentist before, during, and after the dental work. They arrange the equipment and also take x-rays and record medical histories.

Salary: The average amount of salary a Dental Assistant gets is about $33,761.

Education: The Dental Assistant must be approved by the CODA. Also, must have a 2 year Associate’s degree program.

No, I would not like to be a dental assistant because it does not interest me.

                                      Veterans Day

On Veterans Day countries honor the veterans of WWI and WWII by having the countries to stay silence for two minutes every year on November 11 at 11 a.m. This is because the U.S. salutes the American veterans even if they are dead or not to thank them for performing on honorable battle at war. About 23.2 million brave veterans in the United States fought in the war. Most people confused Memorial Day with Veterans Day, so don’t confuse them. In 1954, the holiday was officially changed from Armistice Day to Veterans Day by the President Eisenhower.

                                                                   

Reflection: I thought this was nice way to commemorate the veterans who fought in the United States.
