Duties and Responsibilities: Reflexologist who works with patient’s feet, hands, and ears. They work to help patients unblock the communication of energy channels with in the body. They also, bring out the positive change in their state of well-being to help the patient relax. They are responsible for setting out a plan for future treatment.

Salary: Reflexologist make an average of about $35,970 a year.

Education: Reflexologist must register on the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council (CHNC).

Duties and Responsibilities: A Nutritionist works with large group of people, no matter the age, as long as they a healthy. They are responsible for analyzing how the body works when given fiber serving. They also research how the food impacts the metabolism. In addition, they advise patients about the special diets and nutrition.

Salary: The average amount a Nutritionist makes is about $56,300.

Education: To become a Nutritionist they are required to a Bachelor’s degree in food science or nutrition. In addition, they must take a state exam as well.

Whenever someone sneezes, you say “Bless you” or hear someone else say these words.

Why? Why are these words spoken?

-We say “Bless you” when a person sneezes because it’s a way to say get well or good health to you. This if for the person that sneezes to take care of one self so they won't be able become sick (to stay healthy).

When? When did the saying originate?

-“Bless you” started in the sixth century during a bubonic plague epidemic.

How? How did this saying originate?

-Pope Gregory I the Great (AD 540-604) ascended to the Papacy just in time for the start of the bubonic plague in AD 590

Where? Where did this saying originate?

-“Bless you” originated from Europe.

Rachel Castillo

Rachel Castillo was intelligent woman when she moved quickly and called the authorities. Many people would not have returned the bag of money that was found. She was not rewarded by returning the money but she still thought something would come back her way. Some may want to return the $36,000 to the person missing it but change their mind. But we all shouldn't think of something lost but something useful to another. Either way that was really nice of her to return the money back to the rightful owner. If Rachel would have not returned the bag of money, I think she would have guilt in for not calling the authorities and keeping it.

Reflection: What graham is saying is that you are indeed to ask yourself whether you think is right or wrong. By choosing not to make decisions will help you make right ones. 

Health Information Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities: The Health Information Specialists are in charge of managing the patient and their records. Also, they are in charge of patient information for appointments.

Salary: The average amount a Health Information Specialist salary range is about $37,710 a year.

Education: Health Information Specialist should at least achieve the Associate’s degree. They also, need a certification in CAHIIM exam, plus a class which positions in anatomy, database security, medical coding, medical terminology, and statistics.

Duties and Responsibilities: Environmental Health Specialist has to accomplish tasks when one is told. They are in charge of keeping a conducting pre-plan in public areas. Such as, tattoo parlors, swimming areas, investigating food areas, etc.

Salary: An Environmental Health Specialist make about $40,000-$90,000.

Education: To become an Environmental Health Specialist, a bachelors’ degree is a necessity in this career. Also, they must have a work experience of 1-3 years and must have fit communication skills plus problem solving. In addition, they must have a physical stamina and desire to work when called for any sort of crisis.

Reflection: George Washington quote is powerful in a way because who does want to be in a crowd when they make you feel terrible about yourself. Being alone is better by helping your self-esteem improve. Or you should find another group of friends to assist you in the right direction.

-Presidents Day is a Day when the Americans kudos the life and work of Mr. George Washington. Washington became the first president of the United States.

3.    What is the purpose of Presidents Day?

- This day celebrates to all the United State Presidents as well.

4.    When is it?

-         Presidents Day is on the third Monday of February.

5.     What are a few ways to show honor and respect on Presidents Day?

-         By showing honor and respect by having towns, streets, buildings, etc. named after him.

The Invention of Basketball

1. Who invented Basketball?

-James Naismith was the Basketball Inventor

2. Where?

            -At YMCA Training School in Springfield, Massachusetts.

3. When?

-November 6, 1861

4. How?

-James Naismith had examined the common sports which were Baseball, Football, Hockey, Lacrosse, Rugby, and Soccer. He analyzed that the bigger ball was the safest. Then he studied the physical contact happening when running with the ball. So, he then came across passing which was legal to the game. Lastly, James decreased the body contact to make the target unprotected; he made it over the player’s heads. This had invented a legendary game we all know today “Basketball”.

5. Why?

-James Naismith invented basketball because he didn’t want the students in P.E. to play outside when it was cold. So he decided to invent an indoor game.

6. What were the circumstances at the beginning?

-He had only fourteen days to develop an indoor game.

7. What was it like at the start?

            - The game started with eighteen men at YMCA gym.

8. What type of shots were done?

            -Jump shots

9. How was basketball different today than when it first started?

            -Before it was about a finesse game, but now it is about being physical and more exhausting.

Duties and Responsibilities: Veterinarians are to manage the antibiotic given to the patient, as well as check-ups, cleaning teeth, mend split bones, care for infections in the skin, and to conduct resection.

Salary: A Veterinarian makes about $96,140 a year.

Education: Veterinarians must achieve a 4 year DVM plan that is separated into two parts plus a license. Also, they must have a Bachelor’s degree in animal science, microbiology, animal management, animal health, equine care, etc.
