Duties and Responsibilities: Oncologists
are responsible for gathering the medical records, to conduct physical
estimations; preserved data; arrange other medical info from employees, and run
the work of staff. They also, work on distinguishing procedures to identify
cancer and ascertain the condition of tissue. They also, use scanning
techniques like x-rays and magnetic resonance imaging.
Salary: Oncologists make an average of
$217,856 a year.
Education: Oncologists are required to
have a Medical Degree and a year of general medical training. They have at
least eight years of undergraduate and medical school education. In addition,
they need a medical residency which last three to five years. Also, a licensing
exam and an achievement of training.
