They also, work on distinguishing procedures to identify cancer and ascertain the condition of tissue. They also, use scanning techniques like x-rays and magnetic resonance imaging.

Education: Oncologists are required to have a Medical Degree and a year of general medical training. They have at least eight years of undergraduate and medical school education.
