Home Health Aide
Duties and Responsibilities: The
Home Health Aides are responsible for performing house management like
housekeeping, laundry, shopping and errands. They also, help with bathing,
dressing, grooming, toileting, driving, and assist giving the meds. In
addition, they help with checking if the patient is healthy and is at a
constant average weight. They are responsible for having good communications
and performing in physical conditions
Salary: The Home Health Aides make an
average amount of $22,050 per year. Plus they pay on your time off, even on
sick days, on holidays, dental, medical, and life insurance.
Education: To become a Home Health Aide
you must have a HHA certificate and PPD documentation within one year of hire.
At least have a high school diploma.
