Medical Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities: Medical Assistants are responsible for practicing management and clinical assignments. They are in charge of speaking with patients so they must have an impeccable appearance and a hospitable manner. Medical Assistants answer the telephones, scheduling appointments, and filling patients’ medical records and insurance forms. In addition, they help the patient prepare for their examination.

Salary: The average amount a Medical Assistant makes is about $21,002 to $37,581 yearly.

Education: To become a Medical Assistant you must at least have a high school diploma or GED. They must join a medical training program and office training program. Medical Assistant should also have a licence to perform some procedures plus a certificate in podiatry or ophthalmology.
