Dr. Seuss is saying that you are the only person to control your own path in any direction you’d like. Also that your mom isn't there to guide you and your must choose your own.
Trauma Nurse

Duties and Responsibilities: They are responsible to work in an emergency room, and work with the doctors patients that have severe trauma. They also help move patient move to the nearest hospital. The Trauma Nurses should also work under any kind of pressure and to move fast when someone is hurt. They help people of all ages and they should know how to fix any kind of injury.

Salary: The Trauma Nurse salaries are about $58,000.

Education: To be a Trauma Nurse you should be registered to be a licensed nurse, also need to have an associate degree in nursing which is about 2-3 years. After those years you must take the National Council Licensure Examination, this is the last step toward becoming a Trauma Nurse.  A Bachelor’s degree can increase your pay in the field.

What I think Mr. Monson is saying is that if you or your boss doesn’t test you in like your job or even yourself then how you will know whether you get right the next time or you will just be getting it wrong the whole time. For example if your math teacher doesn't give you test reviews how will you know what to do when the real test comes. You will probably fail it. So you go to tutoring and get help to get ready for the next test. Test will help in an everyday life.
Biomedical Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities: They are responsible for designing new medical devices such as for hearts, kidneys, surgical lasers, and blood sensors. Another responsibility is to test if the 
product is safe to use. Lastly, they are responsible for supervising and training new students.

Salary: Their salary is usually about an average of $81,950.

Education: To be a Biomedical Engineer you need to have a Bachelor’s degree. Also need to have a formal training in mechanical and electronics engineering with focused biomedical training to operate confidently in the field. To improve your education in the engineering field most people get a master's degree.

David Bednar
Mr. Bednar is saying that if listen to the main orders then you are to stay happy.
For example when you drive slow or fast you get a ticket. But if you drive at an average like everyone then you are happy because you did not get a ticket. And the other reckless drivers did.
Air Force Pilot

Duties and Responsibility: Before leaving the area the pilot must write out a plan to where he/she is going to before taking off. Also they must make sure the aircraft is ready for take-off and they must make sure to inspect, load, and fuel the aircraft. While in the air they should keep in contact with other pilots in the air and off.
Salary: They get paid on an average $33,941 to $42,703. The average pay for level five officers is $59,656 to $101,354 per year. The pay gets increased depending on what level you are in.
Education: To be a pilot you need to have a bachelor's degree or higher from a military university. Also need to major in mathematics and physical science. Another thing you need to do in order to be a pilot is to complete the Air Force (SUPT) program.

Yes, I would like to be an air force pilot because I would like to work for the air force and be a pilot for a jet.

Reggie Bush

Reggie Bush was a star player a former runner back at USC. He was handed a Heisman Trophy. Then in the session 2005 after the NCAA Bush announced that he would want his family and him to be accepted with a pile of gifts from two California agents while he was in college. After this terrible mistake he was to hand back his Heisman Trophy.

I think is was wrong of him to want gifts for being a Heisman.

What Mr. Ballou is proverbing about is that obeying is apart of an everyday life. You are responsible to follow orders.
For example when you came out of work and you're driving home and your tired and don't want to stop driving. Then you think to yourself there is no one around so you decided to pass the red light but you remember that be obeying the you won't get a ticket.
Autogenic Training

Duties and Responsibilities: They are in charge of the persistent tension which helps patients to become more relaxed. Patients are to be focus on the physical senses of their own breathing or heartbeat and they must be all loose to be relaxed.
Salary: It’s about $35,000- $142,000
Education:  They need a course with a BAS practitioner to be an Autogenic Training. Ideally you will consolidate your own personal AT process over a 6-month period, before pledging in becoming a professional trainer

No I would not like to be an Autogenic Trainer because you're just relaxing the whole time and that is not that fun.

Mr. Packer is saying that if we follow the rules and directions of the authority then we will have more independence, more freedom, and more liberty. Without following the rules we might end up in jail or get a ticket for not parking where one is not to be parked. Lacking being obedient we won’t have any of those things.
Auricular Therapy

Duties and Responsibilities: The Auricular Therapist is in charge of placing the needles in the ear of the patients. This treatment helps patients relax. This helps indicate whether the patients is having a slight chance of depression, common and long-term anxiety disorders.

Salary: $38,000 – $137,000
Education: To be an Auricular Therapist you need a masters and bachelor’s degree.

911 Memorial


The attack of 911 was about several planes that were hijacked by a group of terrorist called “Al Qaeda.” There were two planes that crashed into two buildings of 110 story feet high skyscraper. In New York City the first plane crashed at 9:50 and it hit the WTC south tower. Then at 10:29 am WTC north tower collapsed into pieces. While the hijackers were proceeding with their plan some passengers were trying to defeat them so they would not reach their goal in crashing into the skyscrapers.

Definition: To obey the authority giving orders

All the workers showed obedience to the manager.
The dog showed obedience to the owner.

All citizens in the United States must obey the laws.


                                Audiologist

Duties and Responsibilities: The audiologist help patients lip read and do sign language. They also examine the hearing and speech of the patient to identify courses of treatment. Another thing they do is inspect and clean the patients' ear canals. In addition they keep records of all clients.

Salary: The average salary is $73,836 a year but in the US they are expected to make less.

Education: To be an audiologist you need to have a minimum of a graduate degree, in some countries you need a master’s degree and or a doctoral degree. Also you need a state license to practice and volunteer certificate for advance work.

Athletic Trainer

Duties and Responsibilities: The Athletic Trainer works with athletes of any age and they help identify and take care of the injury. They are in charge of the bones and muscles of the body. They supply fundamental medical aid. They also put first aid to athletes, for example such as braces, bandages, and/or tape to help the athletes not to get more injured.
Salary: The Athletic Trainer makes $35,000 to $75,000 a year.
Education: To be one you need your bachelor’s degree in athletic training, also you need to have credit by the CAATE, in addition you are going to have to be certified and licensed for all Athletic Trainers.

Anesthesiologist
Duties and Responsibilities: They are trained to administer and manage anesthesia. They also are responsible for managing and fixing the critical life as the patient once live before the surgery. Another thing they do is they quickly treat and identify all medical problems that might have changed after the surgery
Salary: $350,554
Education: To be an Anesthesiologist you need a minimum of 12 years. You need a 4 year degree in natural sciences, also have 4 years of being a medical doctor, and addition to another 4 years of being in a training program after graduating from medical school.

Ambulance Dispatcher

Duties and Responsibilities: They answer 9-1-1 calls and ask about the type of emergency and where it’s located. Another thing they do is give medical instructions to the caller before the Police, Fire and/ or Ambulance department arrives at location. They also keep detailed records of the calls.
Salary: $34,863
Education: To be one you need a High School diploma, need to pass a written exam and typing test. APCO provide training and certification. Also some states require 40 hours or more of training and some require continuing education every 2 to 3 years
