Duties and Responsibilities: Medical
Illustrators are responsible for photography and visual images. They design the
visual effect for books and presentations. They also, sculpt a 3D image for
patient and for trainers.
Salary: The average amount a Medical
Illustrator makes yearly is about $62,000 to $85,000.
Education: Medical Illustrators are
required to have at least a master’s degree from a two year graduate program.
They should advance in the course human anatomy plus biomedical science,
courses are, pathology, micro anatomy, physiology, embryology, and neuroanatomy.
The other classes need to achieve this career is joining any class with simple
drawing and computer applications. This is a four to six years of school.
